Graduates of our Teen Health Educator program, Young Adult Leaders have completed high school and have at least one year of committed experience as a Teen Health Educator. If invited onto the YAL program, they receive additional training on career and effective leadership skills. They then serve in expanded, paid roles as leaders and mentors for our high school-age Teen Health Educators. Each of the Young Adult Leaders is assigned a personal career mentor to guide them in meeting their education and career goals.
We couldn’t do what we do without these amazing young leaders, who continue to serve their community and take responsibility for the success of Healthy Teens.
