COVID-19 and Teens

After over a year of navigating life amidst COVID-19, it is clear that it has already had a lasting impact on youth. It’s nearly impossible to find someone who has not been directly impacted by COVID-19, whether that’s knowing of someone who contracted the virus, or losing a close family member to it. Healthy Teens always consider the impact that COVID-19 has had on all of the topics that we cover, including grief and mental health, financial literacy and stability, food insecurity and nutrition, domestic violence, and child abuse. These are just a few examples of the challenges that people face and that may have been magnified due to COVID-19.
